Quality Assurance Business Partner

Line Manager: Group Head of Quality
Location: Bangkok

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary quality business partner for assigned factories, providing guidance on product quality, process compliance, and risk management.
  • Coordinate and review weekly and monthly quality performance reports, monitor KPIs, and drive improvement action plans with factory management.
  • Participate in new product/style development meetings to identify potential quality risks and ensure quality requirements are incorporated before production.
  • Conduct quality risk assessments for products and manufacturing processes, and implement preventive actions to minimize quality issues.
  • Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for internal quality issues, customer complaints, and recurring defects, ensuring timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support data collection, analysis, and containment activities for quality incidents, providing timely reports and recommendations to management.
  • Work closely with Production, Technical, Product Development, and Quality teams to balance quality, productivity, and delivery performance.
  • Support the planning and execution of internal quality audits, monitor corrective action implementation, and verify effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and support factories during customer, certification, and external quality audits to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
  • Escalate critical quality issues to the Group Head of Quality with clear risk assessments, action plans, and progress updates.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen quality awareness across assigned factories.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in garment manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, or technical operations, preferably with exposure to factory quality management.
  • Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, apparel construction, customer quality requirements, AQL standards, root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality management systems.
  • Experience in quality risk assessment, problem-solving, internal auditing, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Outlook, and virtual communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
  • Willingness to travel to factories as required.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
