Egypt’s General Authority Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) and Hi-Tech Apparel have recently announced the signing of a significant agreement that will see the establishment of a new manufacturing facility in the Qantara West industrial zone.
This deal marks a major milestone for Hi-Tech Apparel with it’s first expansion into the Middle East and Africa, when completed creating up to 2,000 employment opportunities within the region.
The contract was formally endorsed by Walid Gamal El-Din, Chairman of SCZONE, and Wason Vitanakorn, CEO of Hi-Tech Apparel.
Both SCZONE and Hi-Tech Apparel are committed to expediting the project’s progress, aiming to commence construction during Q3 2024, with operations expected to begin in the second half of 2025.
